My \LaTeX assignments

Saturday, July 25th, 2009

I have taken a summer course in \LaTeX-coding. Though I was set to learn some php, when two friends told me about this one I just had to take it, and I have learned more then I could have imagined.

Assignment 4 was more of an introduction to get to know the language. And if you passed this one the first week you didn’t have to do it later on.

Assignment 1 was to make a presentation about another person, or something. I wrote about Steven Levitt.

In Assignment 2 the teacher wanted us to copy a document to look like an original. Though I screamed at the screen a couple of times, I feel proud of the end result.

The last assignment was to make a Beamer presentation. It’s just like a Powerpoint, but you code everything yourself. Subject was free of our choice, I choose to write about parasites.

Feel free to check out my two assignments, unfortunately they’re in Swedish.

Easy \LaTeX plugin

Saturday, July 25th, 2009

Since I sometimes nerd it up big time and talk about \LaTeX, I wanted to have a plugin that would let me post math formulas on the blog.

I got the plugin from Wordpress.net, and the name of it is “Easy \LaTeX“. –> Link

Enjoy.

This post is to try what you can do with the Easy \LaTeX plugin. As shown above you can use it in the title, in the document, but not as a tag, nor category.
